How can we help?

Our story

Where are you based?

après was born and bred in London. Most of the work, design and decisions are made in Kitty’s London flat or a shared office space in Old Street.

Who designs your products?

Kitty designs all the products in London (or maybe sometimes on the train). après product is never ‘off the shelf’. They are designed and developed from scratch and are driven by après sport insights and stories. We don’t make product for the sake of seasonal launches or the requirement to have something to say. We design and manufacture thoughtfully in the hope that when something does come out, people will know it will have the après quality and craftmanship as standard.

Who is the founder & the team?

Kitty Pemberton-Platt is the founder of après sport. She originally launched her brand, KPP, in 2018 which informed and evolved into après from 2020. You can read her vision here. Kitty has an amazing support crew that include but not limited to the following talented beings: Joe Carby. Ben Moutrie. Josh Greet. The Midnight Club.

Why do you do it?

To make life that little bit better. A two minute read on this can be found here.

What are the après standards?

après is a way of life that follows three values: Effort followed by reward, connection and community après product follows three rules: Functionality, comfort and fun.

Shipping & Returns

When will my item be shipped?

après sport is run by a small team but we do our best to post your package as soon as possible. Please allow 2-4 business days for orders to be processed after your purchase is complete. Please note, you are responsible for custom duty, local taxes and handling charges.

What's your return policy?

We want you to feel utter joy when you receive your après order. If don’t feel that, we offer a full exchange or refund within 30 days of purchase excluding the cost of shipping. Items must be in new condition - unworn/unused. Simply email with all the details. We will refund you the price you paid for the products by the method you used for payment.

Where is your product designed?

All of our product is designed in London by Kitty, the après founder. Ideas often originate through an après observation before going through numerous sketchbooks, research and product development. All of this happens in-house (and often quite literally in Kitty’s house).

Where is your product made?

When we evolved from KPP to après we went through a process of finding the best suppliers for our circumstances - low minimum orders, cash flow restrictions and small amount of storage - whilst being mindful of our footprint, ethical decisions and impact on the world. We are therefore proud to work with a manufacturing team based in London who own their factories and can therefore oversee every step of the process. All our printed and marketing materials are done in the UK to help support British Trade.

Where is your product stored?

All of our product is carefully stored in Kitty’s house. This helps reduce costs but also keeps us mindful of never over-ordering. We want the product to be limited and special with minimal waste.

Where did the après icon come from?

The après icon is a juice carton, or juice box if you’re American. This icon epitomises our first experiences of childhood après. The innocent and simplicity of it still resonates - even if that carton has now been replaced for a beer.

Kitty, the founder, does all the illustrations for après. Ride hard, draw harder.

A fresh brand approach to

female sport

In 2018, KPP was launched - a lifestyle brand for female cyclists founded by Kitty Pemberton-Platt. Born from her love of cycling and design, the brand blended sport, style and self development with one ambition: to make sport more desirable for women.

Defining and leading the lifestyle around sport

After several years of learning, and even more inspired to show a lifestyle baked in the great outdoors, effort followed by reward and pockets of joy found around sport, Kitty developed the rebrand of KPP to après sport.
